Racism (or the left’s ALL IN play)

It’s a pretty harsh claim to make on someone. As one person said today “seems uniquely American in outlook, i.e. being racist may be worse than being mass murderers.” (@daveedgr via twitter)

And we do have that outlook – true racism is truly contrary to THE American core value that ALL are. created equal. This is also a Christian value, as to be created implies a ‘creator’. Its listing as first in the Declaration implies its importance – being what all else is based upon, the cornerstone of the foundation, if you will… So I can easily see why any violation of this core belief can be taken as a greater “sin” than any other.

Therein lies the power of such a claim.
But the power of a CLAIM lies in the verification and truth of a claim. One must prove their claim valid, or else suffer a loss of credibility in the process. Too many losses of credibility, and one’s claims lose power.

Such as what happened with Mrs. Obama and the NAACP.

See, I have been to countless local Tea Party events, and have never witnessed any claim of genetic superiority over another (which is the true definition of racism)… Nor has MSM shown any evidence of racism. Think about it – a claim requires proof to be turned into a fact. MSM is part of the group making claims…would they also not be the first to prove and backup their claims if they could?

‘White guilt’ since the days of MLK has been quite a powerful force to be tapped into in order to influence policy decisions, and even a presidential election.

But ‘white guilt’ requires one thing – the generation of guilt created by the claim of racism, which requires some validity to the claim to begin with. With an entire generation now separating those that lived with MLK and those that have merely read about MLK…they hear claims being made, look at their circle of friends and their surroundings, and just don’t see it. The claims are looking unfounded.

So, looking at a tremendous failure looming in the November elections, and no other tactic working, once again, the race card is played.

This time is different though.

This time the claim had no merit, and the bluff of “ALL IN” has been called. “Prove it” has become the mantra… Embracing the failure to prove the claim through the joking use of crackers has removed the Alisky-esque power to marginalize.

No longer does the unfounded claim of racism hold any power.

Time to stand up and leave the table.
